Paw Party For Trooper!

YAY! So many of you generous people donated enough money to pay for Trooper's surgeries! Words cannot express how grateful we are for your unending support!

I am especially excited that you helped a sweet little dachshund in need ~ my own kind, I'm partial to that particular breed and so is my Mama and my grandparents!

I'm also excited to announce that we will be having a Paw Party for Trooper on May 14-15 from 12 noon EST until 2pm EST on the 15th. Please RSVP at http://twtvite.com/TrooperBash. Twitter use hashtag #TrooperBash. The theme is 'Play Doctor' so we encourage everyone to dress up in their favorite doctor/nurse ensemble and twitter away with us for a very good cause!

Trooper Before Surgery

 We were able to collect all funds for Trooper's surgery prior to this pawty. But Trooper still has physical therapy expenses. Depending on how well Trooper recovers will determine the additional medical costs. So in Troopers honor we will continue with the #TrooperBash pawty and any donations received will benefit his future expenses & those of the many other doxies in our care.

At this time we have 2 doxies Tucker & Phoenix that are heartworm positive and need heartworm treatment with a cost of approximately $460. Then, Oscar an owner surrendered doxie needing $300 worth of dental. Cooper a puppy has kidney infection and may need an ultra-sound $600. Cricket has a large tumor on her side that we hope can be removed. We are pending further testing & x-rays to be done next week to see if we can get the tumor removed & may cost about $500. Gus needs x-rays and surgery to remove 2 growths on his head approximate cost is $400. Lauren needs a spay $100 and Valentino needs a neuter $75. Each week we rescue several dachshunds and many have medical issues that need to be taken care of.

All our people are volunteers and every cent goes to help the dachshunds we rescue. Thank You for your suppport!
